Billet Aluminum Trailing Arm Kit With Monoball Set

This trailing arm kit is the ideal upgrade for any E8X 1-series or E9X 3-series chassis cars. It features Revshift's CNC machined 6061-T6 billet trailing arms along with FCP Euro modified Lemforder monoballs that replace the factory split style rubber trailing arm bushings. This kit is the perfect complement to other suspension modifications or completely suitable as replacement parts on a stock car.

The factory-stamped steel control arms are a designed weak point in the rear suspension. You may not know this but they have been designed to bend in the event of an impact on the rear axle. While this does work as a mild safety aid for meeting crash standards it does have the unintended consequence of creating some slop in the rear suspension. Between the relatively weak trailing arm and soft rubber bushings, you will get small camber and toe changes when the rear suspension is loaded and unloaded. Deflection in the suspension, in this case, is both for NVH and crash safety regulations.

The Revshift billet trailing arms eliminate any built-in deflection from the factory design providing a stable base for maintaining rear suspension geometry. Along with these trailing arms, this kit all features FCP Euro's precision-machined Lemforder monoballs which have been modified from an OE factory part in order to replace the soft rubber trailing arm bushings at both the subframe and wheel carrier/knuckle. These monoballs remove all possible deflection in the trailing arm while avoiding the addition of any NVH. These monoballs are teflon encapsulated, lubricated, and sealed making them extremely durable, long lasting, and maintenance-free.
