Product Information
Your M3 or 1M has a set of unique control arms that differ from standard 1 series or 3 series control arms. In addition to these control arms having an influence on handling they also have an effect on front tire camber which is a critical factor in handling performance as well. If your M3 or 1M doesn't feel as tight anymore it could be due to worn bushing or play in the ball joints. This basic 4-piece kit will replace the front tension struts and lower control arms.
We recommend replacing all of your components if you have in excess of 80K miles and still have original components. We also encourage that you replace your control arm components if you are experiencing the following symptoms:
The Syncro Design Works monoball bushings compared to a traditional hydrobearing or solid rubber bushing offer a range of multi-axial movement, where OEM bushings only pivot on a single axis, similar to a gate hinge in motion. OEM bushings, even when new, allow more deflection than preferred for optimal performance and have a limited service life. Syncro Design Works rear trailing arm bearings are lubricated and sealed for maintenance free operation, which makes them the last tension strut bushings that your vehicle will ever need.
