A comprehensive service kit that will allow you to service your BMW's Getrag GS7D36BG or GS7D36SG dual clutch transmission
BMW claims that the dual clutch transmission does not require fluid changes or services. However, most repair professionals and avid enthusiasts agree that while the fluid fill has long life properties it will still need to be replaced at some point. We personally believe that cars that are driven hard will likely benefit more from the occasional transmission service.
This kit takes servicing the GS7D36SG transmission to the next level by also including the oil pump suction filter (often not serviced) along with a new sump pan. Removing the suction filter will cause additional fluid to drain so additional fluid has been added to this kit over the basic version to address this.
